New Work at SCC: collaborative, flexible, agile - innovative
Starting with a KIT-wide "New Work" project , the basis for this was created at SCC from 2022: a space concept was implemented that takes into account the various requirements and realities of life for employees at SCC. Furthermore, creative spaces were created in the truest sense of the word to enable employees to collaborate creatively. Supported by digital tools, modern and flexible working is made possible.
In order to meet the various concerns of employees in the course of their daily work and beyond, we distinguish between two areas: New Work Support and the New Work Incubator.

New Work Support
New Work Support takes care of all employee concerns that arise in the course of their daily work:
Introduction to our room concept, problems with booking and access to rooms, equipping shared rooms, technical equipment, communication in the event of disruptions.
The exact scope of the New Work Support tasks and the established processes are described in the operating concept.
Frequently asked questions and answers can be found in the FAQ.
New Work Inkubator
The New Work Incubator sees itself as a contact point for impulses from employees on New Work in order to implement them transparently through communication and demonstration. The concept of "sharing" makes it possible to deal with and implement new concepts and the further development of modern and flexible forms of work at SCC.
It is an open group to which all interested parties from SCC can contribute on a low-threshold basis.
The Incubator is explicitly not concerned with day-to-day issues or support for established New Work concepts.
The self-image of the New Work Incubator in the form of a mission statement and further information can be found on the incubator's overview page .
