List of Projects
General
Master data for research projects are listed in the SharePoint list (see link below) from status approved) and offered in two views:
- Short form, contains reduced master data as an overview.
- Long form, contains all master data
Important: Access to the list is restricted to certain groups of persons in the SCC and is only possible from KITNet or with VPN into KIT: team.kit.edu/sites/scc-projects
If you do not have access to the list, please contact your department head!
Add a new project
A new project (from status approved) can be added to the SharePoint list with the button "Neu +" or "Neues Element +".
Publish project
A project that is to be listed in the project overview on the SCC website must be entered in the SCC internal project list and provided with the following data:
- Name (German/English)
- Brief description (German/English)
- Funding
- Contact person
- Duration from
- Duration until
- Project website (optional, if existing)
- Additional information (optional if an additional web page exists in CMS for the project).
- Keyword(s) (selection list) -> required for topic and application field-specific project overviews
- Category (CSE = Computational Science & Engineering; DDS = Data Management, Data Analytics, and Secure IT Federations; DII = Dynamic IT Infrastructures).
If a project is not to be published to the web, the value in the Publish field must be set to No. The web editors will receive an email when something has been changed in the project list and can react if necessary. The data is cached, changed data is updated on the web every hour.
Updating master data changes
Master data of projects that change must be updated via the internal project list. This is especially important for all master data that is transferred to the project overview in the web presence. See the description field of the date in the project form in the internal list.
Important: If a project is extended, for example, the new project end date and status must be changed in the internal project list, because otherwise it will be listed under "expired projects".
