New Work Space Concept
The space concept
The SCC's space concept is based on three pillars that are equally important: fixed workstations, shared offices and full flex. Traditional, fixed workstations are retained due to the nature of the work or for personal reasons. Teams or departments come together in shared offices. They share a pool of workstations, whereby there are more employees than workstations. The office community itself organizes who occupies which space and when, or how technology or storage space is used, for example. Those who opt for Vollflex can book a free space for each working day at the SCC flexibly via the newly created room booking tool. This allows working groups to meet quickly and unbureaucratically to work together in one room. New constellations come together the very next day. They work in flex offices, which have been created by freeing up space for "full flexers" and shared offices. These can also be booked by members of the shared offices. In addition, there are several creative rooms with special equipment that are available to all employees.
The SCC space concept is based on the KIT service agreement on mobile working and desk sharing.
