• bwCard Portal for the KIT Card

  • The portal enables KIT members to manage their KIT Card centrally.
    Users can view their card data, display personal card data, block the KIT Card if lost and store portrait pictures and the issuing campus for new cards. In addition, pick-up information including QR code is displayed and the activation of KIT Cards is supported in individual cases.
    Students can register or deregister their KIT Card as a European Student Card via the portal.

General information

KIT members can access the bwCard portal for the KIT Card via the address bwcard.de/portal.

The portal offers the following functions:

  • Display of the card data of all own KIT-Cards
  • Display of personal cards stored in the card management system
  • Blocking/unblocking the KIT Card in the event of loss/retrieval
  • Upload a portrait picture for the creation of a new KIT Card
  • Storing the issuing campus for new KIT Cards to be produced
  • Display pick-up data such as QR code and date of newly produced KIT Cards
  • Activation of KIT Cards in individual cases
  • Registration / de-registration of student cards at ESC
