A close exchange with users is essential for the further development of the NHR@KIT services and infrastructures. For this reason, a new series of events has been launched, where operators and users can meet and exchange ideas in an informal setting: HPC Café.
 
In addition to our established contact channels and training courses, we offer the HPC Café at regular intervals.
 
The event will take place from 10 am to 12 pm with a keynote speech, which will be followed by a discussion.

Of course, a question and answer session is also planned. Here, users can address HPC-related topics and problems. We will try to find solutions together.

Das SCC bietet eine Infoveranstaltung „Netzverwaltung am KIT“ für interessierte IT-Beauftragte und IT-Administrator:innen an.

In diesem Sommer organisieren wir ein COMSOL-User-Meeting vor Ort am KIT. Das Treffen wurde auf den 1. September 2026 verlegt.
 
Zu den vorgeschlagenen Themen für das Meeting gehören:

Die Teilnehmer sind eingeladen, ihre mit COMSOL durchgeführten wissenschaftlichen Arbeiten vorzustellen (ca. 15 Min pro Präsentation).

Das Meeting bietet auch die Möglichkeit, Herausforderungen zu diskutieren, Fragen zu stellen und Feedback direkt mit COMSOL auszutauschen.
Bitte melden Sie sich bis zum 21. Aug 2026 an, um Ihre Teilnahme zu bestätigen. Falls Sie Ihre wissenschaftliche Arbeit mit COMSOL vorstellen möchten, geben Sie bitte den Titel Ihrer Präsentation an. Falls Sie sich bezüglich des Themas nicht sicher sind, können Sie in das Feld „Später“ schreiben.

Für die partnerschaftliche Zusammenarbeit im Bereich der Informationsverarbeitung wurden dem zentralen IT-Dienstleister SCC in der Vergangenheit sogenannte IT-Beauftragte bzw. IT-Koordinatoren benannt.
Hierzu findet zweimal im Jahr eine Informationsveranstaltung für alle benannten IT-Beauftragen statt.
